Nutgrass Eliminator is a selective post-emergent herbicide. Just what is a “selective post-emergent” herbicide?
‘Selective” herbicides control weeds without damaging the surrounding grass. “Post-emergent” herbicides target weeds that are already growing, killing them and preventing them from growing back. So, Nutgrass Eliminator controls weeds (see below) growing in lawns and other landscaped areas without harming desirable plants.
